Coffee Park

El Portezuelo Coffee Park is a privately owned coffee plantation at 4,500 ft. in the lush Apaneca mountain chain of western El Salvador, just 6 km away from Juayua. AkwaTerra owns and operates a cozy lodge in the heart of the farm. Camping is also available. We have access to more then 800 acres of private property. We offer horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as guided coffee tours that teach visitors about the different techniques used to produce our world renowned coffee. Nature tours through ruins, craters, lagoons, waterfalls and geysers are among our favorite pastimes.
